Scanning: low and slowΒΆ

The ground is live and every other invited hand is on it at once, so a lean, throttled kit serves better than anything that sprays. Scanners set low and slow, single-threaded and rate-limited, leave a clean signal where aggressive defaults leave only noise. Restraint like that is a habit more than a setting: an idle reflex reaches for the loud option, and this is the worst place to indulge it.

The ground underfoot is the mark, not the road home. Wordlists, documentation and tooling pulled down in advance keep the work self-contained, with a separate line kept open for anything that has to be looked up on the spot.
