What honours what¶

The least discussed graph, and often the one that pays best. The machines are not the target; the relationships between them are. A laptop trusts the directory, the directory trusts the certificate authority, and trust travels further than anyone drew on the diagram.

The shape repeats wherever trust is delegated. A directory honours the tickets it signed and the forests it federates with; a service provider honours whatever its identity provider vouches for; a client honours any certificate chaining to a root it was shipped; a controller honours a command that reaches it on the right wire. Prompt injection is the same shape one layer up, a model honouring an input channel it was built to honour. Nothing is broken in any of them. A deputy is simply confused about whose instruction it is carrying.
